The tool consists of a web-based survey for assessing the IPL-readiness including organizational and technological as well as human and cultural capabilities. In addition it will be possible to get IPL- surveys in App- versions based on different companies' specific needs and requirements. This is especially relevant for the IPL-Laboratory, where such a tool can be used to facilitate interactive processes for organizational learning and improvement of IPL in the company.
In addition to quantitative data and measures on the IPL practices, we recommend doing qualitative studies to get deeper and valuable insight about IPL challenges and how to improve the IPL-practices in the company. IO2 does provide interview guides for mapping of the IPL practices on a deeper level. The tools are developed based on experiences from collaboration with the industry partners and has been used in the industry pilots for identifying the IPL "As-is" situation.
